SIGMA EXTERIOR PRIMER
Product Description
SIGMA EXTERIOR PRIMER is a high-quality primer for external plaster surface to improve adhesion between the wall and the exterior paint, thus resisting peeling and flaking of paint. It provides for superior hiding and smoother finish.
Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is completely dry and thoroughly clean and free from any grime, dust, flakes, grease, oily substances etc. For old surfaces, remove all loosely adhering particles or powdery material by thoroughly scraping, followed by cleaning. For areas severely affected by algae & fungus, application of Superbond coat is recommended.
Application
Apply one coat of SIGMA Exterior Acrylic Primer over the dried surface by diluting with water in the ratio of 1:0.5 by volume using brush and allow it to dry for 4-6 hrs before applying any top-coat over this.
Thinning
Dilute SIGMA Exterior Acrylic Primer in 1:0.5 ratio with clean water.
Coverage
Approx. 100 to 125 /sq ft/coat after dilution.
Safety Precautions
Store container in upright position, with lid tightly closed, in a cool, dry place
Keep out of reach of children and away from food, drink and animal feed
May be harmful if swallowed. In case of ingestion seek immediate medical attention.
Ensure good ventilation at all times.
Do not breathe vapor or spray. Avoid inhalation of dust by wearing suitable nose pad during sanding and surface preparation.
Wear eye protection during application. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Remove splashes from skin with soap and water or a recognized skin cleanser.
Do not pour leftover paint down the drain or in water courses.
In the event of spills, contain spillage using sand or earth.
